Roadmap Studio uses the information you choose to provide, and the minimum browser access required, to build and maintain your learning roadmap.
Authentication is provided by Auth0. Roadmap Studio receives the account identifiers and profile details needed to sign you in and authorize access. The extension stores its authentication session locally in Chrome so work can continue after its background service worker sleeps.
We process workspace identifiers and names, selected source metadata, assessment answers, preferred language, learner profiles, roadmap and lesson content, notes, completion feedback, and workflow status. The extension reads and operates only on supported NotebookLM and Roadmap Studio pages to run the workflow you start.
Uploading a resume is optional. The original document and extracted text are stored for your account, and the extracted text is synchronized to the NotebookLM workspace you selected so it can inform your learner profile and lessons. You can remove the connected document from the learner-profile flow.
Diagnostics include extension and browser versions, workflow stage, success or failure status, retry count, duration, sanitized errors, stack traces, and support identifiers. Diagnostic events exclude prompts, NotebookLM responses, CV text, assessment answers, authentication tokens, cookies, DOM snapshots, screenshots, screen recordings, and unrelated browsing activity.
The extension stores authentication state, workspace-scoped job state, checkpoints, and a bounded diagnostic queue in Chrome storage. This is required for background workflows and recovery after browser or service-worker suspension. Editable production configuration is not stored in the browser.
Data is used only to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Roadmap Studio's roadmap-building purpose. We do not sell learner data or use it for personalized advertising. Necessary service providers include Auth0 for authentication, Google NotebookLM for the workspace you choose, and our hosting infrastructure.
Roadmap data is retained while your account and roadmaps remain active. Sanitized extension diagnostics are retained for 30 days by default. Deleted resume metadata is purged after the configured retention period. To request account or associated-data deletion, email support@roadmapstudio.app.
Roadmap Studio's use and transfer of information received through the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Human access to learner content is prohibited except with your explicit support consent, for security, to comply with law, or in aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations.
Production traffic is transmitted over HTTPS and access to stored data is authenticated. For privacy questions, deletion requests, or security reports, contact support@roadmapstudio.app.
